The brand new Ran IV TP52 is most certainly this season’s most anticipated yacht. So, even there aren’t many details, a set of beautiful photos is worth a post. Renowned Spanish photographer Jesús Renedo was on the water on Monday, following Ran’s third day of sailing.

Very interesting to see the hull-shape difference to Azzurra/Matador. Same designer but totally different solution resp. optimisation criteria. My impression is that RAN in much more in line with last year’s J/V thinking, while Azzurra looks like an extension of last year’s B/C thinking (albeit by J/V).
