First sail for new GP42 team Peninsula Petroleum

John Bassadone’s (GBR) Peninsula Petroleum (GBR), a 2007 Botin-Carkeek design built as ex-Turismo Madrid, took her maiden sail on Saturday after having some keel reinforcements done over the winter at Longitud Zero, in Burriana, north of Valencia. The team whose project manager is Inaki Castañer is now in Palma in order to race in this year’s Palmavela that starts tomorrow.
