According to a very brief statement on Alinghi’s website, Alinghi 5, the Defending catamaran for the 33rd America’s Cup, resumed her sailing activity on Sunday off the coast of Ras Al-Khaimah. Alinghi 5 spent a week in the shed and came out with some not-so-evident modifications and an evidently longer bowsprit.
Unfortunately, the one and only significant picture we could find doesn’t reveal anything extraordinary.

smart thinking from the swiss I think. This is the chance to play the secrets close to the chest. Annoying to the bor team be2ause they now have let alinghi see everything that they have

the question is: Is there anything more we can expect from alinghi?

"be2ause they now have let alinghi see everything that they have
"
Guess what that means: They couldn't care less what Alinghi is doing or not. You may call that ignorance but perhaps BMWOracle simply is confident with the platform they have developped during the last two years and sees no need in making a secret out of it. I actually really like that kind of transparency

Christian, I do believe that it is a little difficult to hide a hard sail on a 90ft trimaran that is being watched by the entire sailing world.

wait till they start sailing with their Kite. I heard they had hired a pro kite surfer as an advisor.

Word out of RAK is that A5 broke in NoR upper wind limit conditions. Repairs could take a few days. They expect the boat back on the water on Thursday.

A little bump for Alinghi is their new part broke in stronger wind with waves today.
Like BOR both these programs are going to have bumps in their development timeline to getting ready for Valencia.

Yeah mate, pretty smart. Maybe the Swiss will hind their mega – secret – weapon until the first race. Who needs tests and training???
